Three-star hotels: These are not as luxurious but do offer air-conditioned rooms. Three star hotels cost approximately $19.00 (U.S.) per night. Two-star and one-star hotels: These may not offer air-conditioned rooms, but are still functional. Tourist Lodges and Bungalows: Tourist lodges provide bedrooms, family rooms, and often a kitchen area and exist in almost every major tourist spot in the country. Campsites: Campsites can be found throughout India. Hostels: Hostels are cheap and easy alternative for people who want to explore India's natural and outdoor world.
